💥Founding member spotlight!💥 Maday Bonet was born in Cuba and migrated to the United States with her parents and siblings at the age of four.  She was raised in Miami, Florida, and has one son.  Her passion for children began at an early age.  She was involved with HandsOnMiami, where she volunteered her time reading to children who were underprivileged and in foster care.  The trauma the children experienced and shared with her gave her the passion to advocate.  Life experiences reinforced her passion to continue an active role in helping other children and families.  As Office Manager of the Department of Psychology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, she has had the opportunity to advocate for children and their families. Her growth within the department has led to leadership roles, which keeps her driven and focused on mental health advocacy, the importance of community engagement, and the wellbeing of all children. Maday aspires to utilize her experience in leadership, strategy, professional development, and community engagement in her role as Chair of the Board of Trustees at Parent to Parent of Miami.  She is an active volunteer at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, part of the Miami-Dade Behavioral Alliance, and other local non-profit organizations. #miami #miamidade #mentalhealth #mentalhealthprofessionals

🌟Founder spotlight!🌟 Lindsay is one of the co-founders of the Miami-Dade Behavioral Health Alliance. She is the Founder and President of @merakiwellnesshealing but considers herself first and foremost a mental health advocate. She is driven by a desire to bring awareness and provide resources to those in need of mental health services in the Miami-Dade county. Lindsay is very active in the community, she serves as the Chair of the Mental Health Task Force for the Town of Miami Lakes, is a member of the Miami-Dade Chapter for the Florida Mental Health Advocacy Coalition is on the board of Care Services of Florida, a local non-profit focused on mental health awareness and serves in other charitable organizations throughout the county. “Being able to collaborate with other like-minded people is a true blessing. 🌟Kicking off our member spotlight with one of our co-founders, Michael Crisanto🌟 Mike is one of the co-founders of the Miami-Dade Behavioral Health Coalition and serves as the Director of Clinical Outreach in Florida for @charliehealth. He has worked in behavioral health for over 10 years and has served as a forensics case manager, mental health counselor, consultant, and business development representative. Mike is passionate about youth mental health and suicide prevention, and spent time working as a suicide prevention specialist under a federally funded SAMHSA grant. “It’s an honor to work for an organization that is dedicated to addressing the youth mental health crisis and increasing accessibility to quality healthcare to families across the country.
